Job summary

BB&E Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to oversee federal projects, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. The PM will manage planning, reporting, and client interfaces while guiding staff across multiple sites.

Based in Northville, MI or Atlanta, GA, with possible travel. Requires DoD program experience, 40‑hour HAZWOPER, and a bachelor's in engineering or geology. Join BB&E's collaborative, safety‑conscious team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of environmental experience, with at least 5 years in consulting.
• Must have federal project management experience.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Geology or related science.
• Experience with DoD environmental programs and CERCLA/RCRA.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of projects.
• Supervise field investigations, sampling, and remediation activities.
• Review technical documents for regulatory compliance and feasibility.
• Develop client project plans including Five Year Reviews and SAPs.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with leadership to uphold BB&E values.
• Travel up to 30% of the time.
