Job summary
A civil and environmental engineering firm is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to support federal clients. Responsibilities include project planning, overseeing investigations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role demands a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience in environmental consulting, and a strong commitment to quality project delivery. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and technical writing abilities. A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required. This is an on-site position located in Northville, Michigan.
Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years of experience as an environmental professional, including last five in consulting.
Previous project management experience with federal clients is required.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required; GIT/PG or EIT/PE preferred.
Responsibilities
Support client management through excellent project delivery.
Manage multiple projects effectively, meeting financial and schedule metrics.
Develop project plans, including Risk and Communication Plans.
