Job summary

LiRo-Hill seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager for its Mineola, NY office with 25% field work. Lead environmental compliance projects for public facilities, supervise field staff conducting asbestos, PCB, and lead-based paint surveys, and ensure EPA, NYS, and NYC DEP compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of hazmat compliance experience.
Strong knowledge of EPA, NYS, NYC DEP regs related to asbestos, lead paint and mold.
Required certifications: NYS DOL Asbestos Inspector; Project Designer; Project Monitor; OSHA 10/30.
Proven experience managing field staff on complex environmental projects.
Experience with budgeting and financial management.

Responsibilities

Manage environmental compliance projects for public facilities (NYC SCA experience preferred).
Oversee field staff conducting asbestos, PCB, and lead-based paint surveys and abatements.
Ensure compliance with EPA, NYS, NYC DEP regs related to asbestos, lead paint, and mold.
Provide hands-on leadership for field operations and project execution.
Prepare, review, and maintain detailed technical reports and ensure proper document control.
Develop, manage, and track project budgets.
Collaborate with accounting and billing teams to ensure accurate project close-out.
