Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in environmental planning or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of California regulatory experience with environmental planning and CEQA for linear infrastructure.
• Experience overseeing environmental compliance during construction and closeout for transmission projects in California.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of environmental planning and compliance for electric transmission and distribution projects, including CEQA documentation and permitting.
• Coordinate CEQA analyses and documentation (EIRs, IS, MNDs, Addenda) and support related technical studies.
• Oversee permitting from cities, counties, and state/federal agencies for linear infrastructure projects.
• Manage construction-phase environmental compliance, including MMPRs, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Support project closeout with final compliance reports and permit terminations.
• Provide regulatory guidance on California environmental requirements for transmission projects.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality reviews of deliverables.
• Support project budgets, schedules, scopes, and proposals as needed.
• Represent the organization in meetings and present environmental topics.
