Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner in our Ontario office to provide integrated approaches supporting environmental, social, and economic effects of transportation infrastructure projects.

You will help evaluate environmental reviews and participate in public involvement, with a focus on climate action and Environmental Justice considerations. Strong writing and data handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in environmental planning or related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in environmental planning or related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Federal and California environmental policy, including environmental review, climate action, and Environmental Justice.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office (Word, Teams, Excel); ArcGIS and AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare planning analyses and reports, including environmental reviews (NEPA, CEQA).
  • Collect and organize raw data from various sources; field investigations.
  • Prepare regulatory permit applications (CDFW, USACE, RWQCB).
  • Support natural resources field work and public involvement activities.

We specialize in evaluating the impacts of transportation infrastructure projects, programs, and government policies.
