Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in the Gulf region seeks a seasoned Principal Consultant, Environmental Permitting and Impact Assessor to guide siting, permitting, and environmental assessments for traditional and renewable energy projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, mentor staff, and drive client relationships across capital developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of consulting or energy sector experience.
Proven success in project management and client relationship development.
Expertise in local, state, and federal permitting (e.g., USACE, FERC, BOEM, USFWS).

Responsibilities

Lead permitting and impact assessment for energy projects (traditional and renewable).
Lead multi-media permitting ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Serve as Project Manager on complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships.
Collaborate with ERM leadership and account teams to drive commercial growth.
Deliver high-quality technical work and regulatory compliance.
