Responsibilities

• Provides professional environmental expertise to directorate team members and installations. Initiates, develops, sets objectives, and evaluates performance of AFCEC and installations’ environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and directives.
• Provides consultation and advisory services in support of environmental administrative issues. Validates and approves installation environmental program evaluations for mission changes, unit realignments, reports, and correspondence.
• Communicates critical issues to division members, serviced installations, and superiors. Develops briefing packages and prepares related reports.
• Provides direction to a team of environmental professionals and, as a senior member, guides assignments, project direction, prioritization, and scheduling.
