The Senior Environmental Manager Supervisor leads environmental programs within the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, managing State Implementation Plan development and regulatory compliance with the U.S. EPA. The position serves as a technical expert providing guidance to regulated communities and government officials on environmental regulations and program implementation.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Public Health, or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an environmental science related field
• At least 2 years of experience in administrative, leadership, managerial, or supervisory capacity recommended
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and ability to apply them in various conditions
• Ability to effectively interact with local, state, and federal groups orally and in writing
• Ability to delegate work, manage workflow, and develop employee skillsets
