Job summary

Grace, a leading global supplier of catalysts and engineered materials, is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead environmental programs across a complex chemical manufacturing operation. The role reports to the EHS and Security Manager and focuses on permits, waste management, sustainability, and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 7+ years of environmental experience, 3+ years in industrial manufacturing, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
7+ years of environmental experience.
3+ years in industrial manufacturing or chemical industry.
Supervisory/leadership experience; strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for environmental permits and programs across a chemical facility.
Oversee Title V, NPDES, SWPPP, and waste management programs.
Ensure regulatory compliance with EPA, state, and local requirements.
Lead environmental management systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage environmental risk, emissions, and waste disposal programs.
Serve as primary site contact for regulators and agencies.
Develop environmental talent and sustainability initiatives across operations.
