Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active Bar Admission in the District of Columbia, in good standing.
• 5–7 years of substantive experience in environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement matters.
• Deep familiarity with CERCLA and RCRA.
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with major federal and state environmental statutes, including CERCLA and RCRA.
• Represent clients in environmental enforcement proceedings and negotiations with regulatory agencies.
• Counsel clients on environmental aspects of transactions, due diligence, and risk management.
• Draft and review environmental reports, submissions, and compliance documents.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including technical consultants and environmental engineers, to develop strategic solutions.
• Support environmental litigation and administrative proceedings as needed.
