Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to provide technical environmental engineering support across our U.S. mining, processing, and refining sites.

You will apply your engineering background to environmental studies, permitting, monitoring program design, and integrating environmental requirements into FEL 1–3, detailed design, construction, and operations. This role requires the ability to move quickly across multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental engineering experience in mining, energy, or large infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of environmental studies and modeling (air, water, stormwater) and monitoring program design.
• Familiarity with U.S. environmental regulations (CAA, CWA, RCRA, ESA, EPCRA) and their engineering implications.
• Experience supporting permit applications, EIS/EA sections, or related design packages.
• Strong analytical, writing, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental studies (air, water, stormwater) and support permitting for multiple projects.
• Design and implement environmental monitoring programs and analyze results for compliance and decision-making.
• Integrate environmental requirements into FEL 1–3 and detailed design with engineering teams.
• Prepare permit applications, EIS/EA sections, and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with process engineering, operations, and legal teams; support due diligence and ESG reporting.
