Who are we looking for?

Our Central Region Environmental businesses in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas are looking for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of various environmental solutions and projects.

This role can be based in either Baton Rouge, LA, or Houston, TX.

What you will do:

• Prepare technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate and implement project permitting
• Interpret and evaluate environmental regulations
• Compile, reduce, and interpret data
• Manage clients
• Develop business opportunities
• Mentor staff

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• PE or PG certification is highly regarded
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including permitting, compliance, remediation, site assessments, report writing, data management, and client management
• Experience with federal contracts is beneficial
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a consulting environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel for client meetings
