GDH is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across facilities in Texas. The role involves coordinating daily activities, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting operational teams with environmental procedures.

The position requires a proactive approach to identifying improvements and managing multiple environmental projects and reporting, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field mandatory or preferred.
• 10+ years of oil and gas environmental experience.
• Experience with air permits, stormwater, and wastewater management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day environmental compliance activities at facilities.
• Support operations to apply environmental procedures consistently.
• Identify opportunities for environmental improvements and implement actions.
• Prepare routine environmental reports (NSPS and MACT).
• Ensure facilities are audit-ready for agency inspections.
• Respond to environmental emergencies and spills; manage short-term remediation.
• Manage environmental contractors and coordinate initiatives.
• Communicate policies and best practices to staff at all levels.
• Implement waste minimization and proper disposal procedures.
• Provide input on procedures and support continuous improvement.
