Aspen Aerogels, Inc. in East Providence, RI is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead environmental compliance for a solvent-based manufacturing facility.

You will own permits, regulatory reporting, and the ISO 14001 program, acting as the primary interface with environmental agencies. You will manage air, water, and waste programs, drive environmental improvements, and ensure regulatory readiness with RIDEM, EPA Region 1, and local authorities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field required.
• Minimum eight years of progressive environmental compliance experience at a manufacturing/industrial facility preferred.
• Experience preparing air permit applications and managing approvals with state regulatory agencies.
• Experience with EPA regulatory reporting platforms (NetDMR, CEDRI, TRI-MEweb, RCRAInfo, e-GGRT) and related tools.

Responsabilidades

• Own site environmental compliance across air, water, waste, and chemical release prevention.
• Lead permitting for existing and new operations and ensure approvals in advance of equipment changes.
• Maintain ISO 14001 environmental management system and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Interface with RIDEM, EPA Region 1 and local authorities; manage regulatory reporting and training of staff.
