General Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of environmental projects and clients, including site investigations, engineering analysis, design, inspection, and report writing.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend risk and remediation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare permit applications, risk assessments, and technical documents such as proposals and reports.
• Design systems and environmental protection plans, and communicate complex engineering issues effectively.
• Work on projects involving environmental assessments, ecological surveys, tank closures, asbestos abatement, stormwater management, and site planning.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand project risks and promote quality standards.
• Lead safety efforts and create a safe work environment.
• Manage complex projects requiring innovative investigation techniques.
• Supervise report analysis and recommendations.
• Develop and update policies and procedures in your field of expertise.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced staff.
• Assist in marketing strategies and client presentations.
• Serve as a Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8-11 years of experience; Master’s preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable violation history.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status.
