Job description

Job Title: Senior Environmental Engineer

Posting Start Date: 6/2/25

ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a Senior Environmental Engineer at our Orange Manufacturing site.

As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will coordinate, direct, and maintain total air compliance in accordance with the Orange Site Integrated Management System to include corporate guidelines and government regulations.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee, manage and maintain site wide compliance associated with air emissions. This includes analyzing, reporting, interpreting, and making recommendations to improve and maintain all programs involving air quality
  • Provide support & guidance to production units in the development, management and submittal of permit renewals, construction permits, permit modifications, stack testing protocols, LDAR monitoring programs, and other permitting activities, as necessary. Communicate requirements of Title V and State air permits, MACT requirements and any other regulatory or corporate compliance issues to area management.
  • Compile and complete annual environmental and regulatory reports and ensure that the plant is prepared for any regulatory audit and/or investigation. Perform internal audits as directed in HMS and follow up on corrective actions. For example, Emissions Inventory, Tier II, TRI, and SARA Title III Section 313 report.
  • Monitor regulations for rule changes and determine their applicability to the Orange site .
  • Provide technical advice and emergency notification to regulatory agencies and Corporate as required in emergency response situations (spills, upset maintenance etc.). Provide technical direction and guidance during emergency response situations by providing safe and environmentally responsible advice.

In order to accomplish this, you will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, Biology etc) with 6 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry or;
  • Masters Degree in a technical field with in Health, Safety and Environment with 4 years year experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Broad technical understanding of both environmental, and mechanical issues
  • Ability to coordinate activities necessary to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail, capability to manage multiple and competing priorities, independence, and the ability to influence, communicate and work effectively with a broad range of internal and external parties.
