This is a full‑time, on‑site Senior Environmental Engineer role based in Columbia, Missouri or north of Kansas City, Missouri. The Senior Environmental Engineer will develop, implement, and oversee environmental programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across production and specialty operations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting environmental impact assessments, managing permitting processes, monitoring wastewater treatment and waste management activities, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The role will collaborate with plant leadership, operations teams, and external consultants to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support sustainable practices. The Senior Environmental Engineer will also provide guidance on environmental standards, lead audits and inspections, support training initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of environmental performance.
