Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in an environmental, science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of eight years of environmental experience with an associate degree or six years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in the environmental programs listed in the job summary.
• Travel time ranges from 20% - 40% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement environmental activities and policies in assigned region(s).
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, Company policies, standards, procedures, and strategic goals.
• Assist Environmental Services with developing environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide training, instruction, and assistance on environmental requirements.
• Develop environmental training materials.
• Support regulated-substance releases or discharges, including agency notifications, contractor coordination, cleanup direction, and follow-up reports.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices.
• Support environmental compliance reviews, Phase I or II environmental site assessments, and remediation projects.
• Coordinate and respond to public inquiries regarding environmental matters.
• Develop and maintain environmental documents and records.
• Conduct environmental reviews of disposal contractors and related facilities.
• Manage contracts associated with Environmental Services.
