Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an Environmental & Sustainability Compliance Lead to develop, implement, and oversee the environmental compliance and sustainability strategy for a multi-billion-dollar pharma manufacturing project in Richmond, VA.

You will drive environmental stewardship across site development, construction, commissioning, startup, and operations, collaborating with EHS, engineering, and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, EHS, or environmental compliance on large industrial/pharma projects.
• Experience with large capital projects exceeding $500 million TIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the environmental and sustainability strategy for the project.
• Lead environmental compliance activities across site development, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Coordinate permitting support with engineering, regulatory teams, and contractors.
• Establish and monitor sustainability metrics (energy, water, waste, GHG, material efficiency).
