Job summary

Senior Environmental Advisor in Sheffield, joining the Social Value team to support sustainability outcomes from pre-construction through construction phases. Travel to site and between sites is required, with three on-site days per week and flexibility for hours.

Role focuses on environmental inspections, incident reporting, and delivering metrics that track progress against project objectives, working with a major contractor to drive the sustainability agenda.

Qualifications

• PIEMA membership or working towards, with incident management training and experience managing incidents independently.
• Knowledge of construction sustainability schemes such as BREEAM, CEEQUAL, LEED, WELL, and experience with environmental management systems.
• Passionate about sustainability, with strong data/statistical analysis, reporting and critical thinking skills, and the ability to travel to and between sites and be on site 3 days a week.

• Conducting environmental inspections and audits
• Reporting and investigating environmental incidents and developing learning outcomes

We're looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join our Social Value team in Sheffield.

Location: Sheffield – travel to the office required

Hours: 40 hours per week – 3 days a week on site (with some flexibility available) – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you'll be working within the Social Value team, supporting them in delivering sustainability outcomes for key clients during both the pre construction and construction phases.
