Job summary

Pipeworks Studios in Eugene, Oregon is seeking a Senior Environment Artist to support environment design, modeling, and texturing across cartoony to realistic styles. The role is a fixed-term, full-time position with potential extension or conversion to regular employment.

The artist will collaborate closely with the Art Lead, work across engines like Unreal, and contribute to level flow while meeting project deadlines. Remote, hybrid, or on-site work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in a similar role.
• Any degree or certification in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine and Maya/Max is essential.
• Ability to create environment textures with Substance Designer.
• Experience to work from concept to final in engine.

Responsibilities

• Create environments for individual projects as needed.
• Work independently or within a group, depending on project.
• Research, develop and implement art in engine per Project Art Director requirements.
• Research current techniques and apply relevant processes.
