Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a senior hands-on engineer to lead identity and access reviews for a UK-regulated investment firm, focusing on Microsoft 365 and a cloud data platform. You will work with the delivery lead and the client's technology team to run checks, document findings, and implement safe fixes.

Responsibilities include running quarterly reviews with PowerShell and Graph, ensuring least privilege, and communicating results clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity, Microsoft 365 or infra roles; 4+ years in identity/access.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Entra ID experience (groups, guest access, CA).
• Deep knowledge of SharePoint and Teams permissions (sharing links, inherited access).
• Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting.
• SQL querying of permissions; Snowflake experience is a plus.
• Careful with evidence and clear written communication.
• Right to work in UK and ability to work through a limited company.
• Desirable: Microsoft SC-300 or equivalent, and financial services experience.

Responsibilities

• Run access reviews across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID, and record results.
• Identify and fix overly broad access (open SharePoint sites, old guest accounts, unused groups).
• Write PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripts to pull permissions and repeat checks quarterly.
• Check access in a cloud data platform such as Snowflake using SQL.
• Prepare evidence packs showing what was checked, what was found and what was fixed.
• Coordinate changes with client system owners and implement safely.
