Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Engineer to research, implement, and maintain SaaS cloud payroll solutions. You will support enterprise systems, data migration, and vendor services, working under minimal supervision to align with business goals.

The role requires advanced SaaS knowledge, experience with HCM modules, and ability to lead small projects while mentoring teammates. Location includes multiple US sites with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management/Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of related experience in Payroll, Time & Labor or SaaS implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Payroll, Time and Labor and Absence modules.
• Experience with SaaS cloud tools like VBS/VBCS and AI chatbots.

Responsibilities

• Assist Payroll/Time and Labor to integrate SaaS into business processes.
• Configure Oracle HCM cloud systems to match organizational needs.
• Troubleshoot issues, oversee data migration, and manage project SLDCs.
• Provide user training on Oracle HCM Payroll functionalities.

Overview

Research, implement, and maintain Oracle HCM Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud systems and payroll solutions using cloud engineering principles. Support enterprise network systems, applications, data migration/integration solutions, and vendor services. Work under minimal supervision and use complete understanding of business needs and objectives to support projects that have impact on the achievement of operational goals. Advanced skill set and proficiency with procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the business unit (Payroll, Time and Labor) in fully integrating SaaS systems into existing business processes; provide input on best practices
• Perform advanced Oracle HCM cloud systems configurations to align with organizational needs
• Troubleshoot system issues, oversee system development for assigned workstreams, and manage data migration projects
• Provide user support and training on Oracle HCM (Payroll) functionalities
• Identify functionality gaps and offer recommendations for solutions
• Manage the SDLC process from requirement intake to deployment
• Consult and support internal customers as a trusted advisor
• Design and document technical solutions to functional system requirements
• Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts
• Lead small projects and initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management/Information Systems, or equivalent training, education, and experience
• 5-7 years of experience in function
• Complete knowledge and understanding of Payroll, Time and Labor and Absence
• Advanced skill in SaaS cloud developer tools such as Visual Builder Studio (VBS), Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS), Generative AI Chatbots, and Content/Knowledge development
• Advanced skill with case management and ticketing systems, such as Service Now and ADO
• Advanced skill to work independently with limited guidance and as part of a team, and experience with guiding and mentoring others
• Advanced interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with external contacts and all levels of management and staff
• Advanced knowledge of SaaS Cloud functional/technical data flows, notifications and integrations between various applications
• Advanced knowledge of cloud technologies, AI concepts, and related duties such as designing, planning, administering, developing, or maintaining cloud-based applications.
