Job summary

Slate Auto is seeking a dependable Systems Manager to lead enterprise systems and cloud platforms across manufacturing plants and corporate operations. You will mentor engineers, drive deployments, and optimize configurations while ensuring reliable service delivery in a fast-growing automotive tech environment.

The role focuses on Microsoft 365, Azure, identity platforms, and a broad stack including Linux, containers, automation, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 5–8 years in systems engineering or infrastructure roles; enterprise experience preferred.
• Experience leading projects or guiding engineers is a plus.
• Strong Windows/Linux Admin skills and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Support system deployments, upgrades, and integrations across environments.
• Provide escalation support for complex system and platform issues.
• Mentor and guide systems engineers to ensure consistency and quality.
• Ensure consistency in configurations, documentation, and system standards.
• Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Partner with Network and IT Services teams to ensure end-to-end service delivery.
• Support after-hours escalation as needed for critical systems and operations.
