Job summary

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) seeks a Senior Enterprise System Programmer to lead the technical functions of enterprise application development, including architecture, security, and lifecycle management of large-scale web and mobile applications.

You will collaborate with the Data Architect and UI Designer, implement 3-Tier architectures, review code, support SDLC, and partner with customers to define technical strategies and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Five years of related work experience required.
• Ability to maintain security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains enterprise web and mobile applications with a focus on security.
• Architects large-scale web-based apps using 3-Tier architecture in an agile environment.
• Supports projects through the full SDLC from design to production release.
• Collaborates with the Data Architect and UI Designer on layouts for web, Windows, and mobile apps.
• Assists in designing software solutions across university-wide services and ERP systems.
• Conducts code reviews and maintains source control management.
• Evaluates new standards and technologies with the Web Solution Architect.
• Provides technical support and documentation for testing, usability, and coding standards.
• Interacts with customers to define requirements and drive implementation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
