Job summary

Eurodyn seeks a highly capable System Architect fluent in German to lead architecture decisions for complex enterprise projects. You will guide design teams, ensure compliance with security standards, and drive continuous improvement across architectures and processes.

The role requires expertise in microservices, cloud technologies, containerization (Docker), and distributed infrastructure, with strong IT security knowledge. Located in Germany, English proficiency is also essential.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge as architect in enterprise projects.
• Expert knowledge of microservice architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases.
• Expert knowledge of cloud technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge in container virtualization such as Docker or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of complex projects with many components and their configuration.
• Expert knowledge in IT security and data protection.
• In-depth knowledge of Git.

Responsibilities

• Make architecture decisions within the established system architecture scope, considering non-functional requirements like performance, security and stability.
• Advise ITZBund specialist department and design team on technical requirements, effort and complexity drivers.
• Design system architecture compliant with security standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz).
• Continuously improve development architecture and processes.
• Prepare and present information and decision-making documents.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer to employees.
