Job summary

NextGen Security, LLC in Charlotte, NC, seeks an experienced electronic security service technician to join our fast-growing team. The Senior Service Technician handles service, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, testing and repair of enterprise-level systems for healthcare, higher education, utilities, data centers, and more.

You will lead technical aspects, support access control and video surveillance, travel as needed, and respond to after-hours service calls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience installing and maintaining enterprise security systems.
• Strong knowledge of access control and video management systems.
• Technical/electrical background with safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Willingness to travel and work in various environments, including chemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, program, test and repair enterprise security systems.
• Provide advanced support for access control, video surveillance and related low-voltage systems.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and support operations; travel and after-hours calls may be required.
