Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a SCCM/MCM Systems Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise SCCM deployments for Windows patching, software distribution, and OS deployment across multiple networks. The role emphasizes automation, documentation, and collaboration with Tier 2/3 teams.

The candidate should have 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a TS/SCI with Poly clearance. On-site work in a secure environment with standard work hours is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science required.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Extensive SCCM administration across global enterprise environments.
• Security clearance TS/SCI w/Poly required.
• Experience with Windows Server Administration, AD and GPOs; MSI creation using automated tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the SCCM Global Enterprise Solution for patch management and software deployment across networks.
• Monitor SCCM infrastructure health, boundaries, and collections; implement changes as needed.
• Develop knowledge articles, documentation, and playbooks for teams.
• Assist with enterprise patch ingest/test/deployment cycles (Patch Tuesday).
• Collaborate with remote/deployed units and support external WSUS customers; enable automation.
