M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager in New York, NY to develop and deliver second-line ERM services. You will coordinate with risk partners, senior leadership, Legal, and Internal Audit to advance the enterprise risk framework and governance across the Bank.

Responsibilities include data analysis, metrics reporting, and program design to monitor and mitigate significant risks. Strong communication and regulatory awareness are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; 8 years of risk, reporting and analytics, governance, or related function.
• Alternatively a combined minimum of 12 years higher education and/or work experience with 8 years in risk, reporting and analytics.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Proficient in risk analytics and reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead one or more Enterprise Risk Management activities and coordinate across the Bank.
• Develop, implement, and maintain elements of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework with stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze data; create reports to monitor risk-program adherence and project activity.
• Serve as liaison among first-line, second-line risk partners, senior leaders, Legal, and Internal Audit.
• Design and improve processes, training, and documentation to support risk management.
• Promote timely communication and escalation of material risk concerns.
• Stay abreast of evolving risk themes and regulatory expectations.
