SAP SE is seeking a Senior Data & Applied Scientist to build the semantic foundation for SAP's AI agents. You will design and maintain enterprise ontologies, embedding-driven architectures, and knowledge grounding across major business domains, integrating SAP data with external sources to enable accurate, scalable AI solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration across product, engineering, and customer-facing teams, with a focus on deploying and iterating AI in production.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in knowledge engineering, semantic data systems, applied AI, or data science.
• Master's or PhD in CS, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on with enterprise ontologies and semantic models; proficient in SPARQL, Cypher or GQL.
• Experience with GenAI systems, embeddings, vector databases, semantic retrieval, and knowledge grounding.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Proven track record deploying AI/ML in production including lifecycle support.
• Experience with big data infrastructure and cloud environments (Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in Agile environments.
