Job summary

Center for Digital Governmtent seeks a senior network engineer to lead hands-on engineering, configuration, and operational support of the county's enterprise network infrastructure. You will draft Cisco ISE NAC policies, 802.1X port security, and VPN configurations, ensuring alignment with security standards.

The role provides Tier 4 advanced troubleshooting, firmware updates, and multi-project leadership in a high-visibility enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years in electronic data processing systems analysis and design and a four-year degree with related coursework.
• Experience drafting and validating enterprise network device configurations (routers, switches, firewalls, NAC).
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE, 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, and enterprise Wi‑Fi standards.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Draft, validate, and deploy configurations for routers, switches, firewalls, and NAC systems.
• Lead Tier 4 troubleshooting for complex outages and vendor escalations.
• Maintain high availability via firmware updates, patch mgmt, and hardware replacements.
• Create and maintain network topology, IP/VLAN allocations, and ISE policy docs.
