Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, secure, and maintain a hybrid network across datacenters, corporate offices, and properties. You will work with Cisco, Meraki, Arista, and Juniper platforms, and partner with Security Operations on segmentation and access controls.

Salary ranges from $111,000 to $136,000 per year with a 10.5% discretionary bonus. Onsite Monday-Thursday with remote Fridays; travel to Chicago-area datacenters may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum seven years in enterprise IT with network focus.
• CCNA or equivalent required; CCNP preferred.
• PM experience in cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and maintains enterprise routing and switching across datacenters, offices, and properties.
• Manage internal/external routing protocols (BGP, iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP) for connectivity and segmentation.
• Administers wired/wireless networks (Meraki, WLCs, Mist) and 802.1X authentication.
• Administers DNS, DHCP, IPAM (Infoblox); supports external DNS.
• Maintains network monitoring and capacity reporting (SolarWinds or equivalent).
• Lead application delivery via F5 Distributed Cloud and Cloudflare; TLS config and protection.
