Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Enterprise Network Engineer to design and implement large-scale corporate network solutions. The role requires collaboration at secure facilities and weekly on-site work in Vienna, VA, with periodic travel as needed.

You will lead technical efforts from requirements through implementation, providing Tier 3/4 F5 support and coordinating with program management and external stakeholders. A DoD clearance is often required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years IT experience, including at least two projects on network/telecom services with one in the last three years.
• CCNP-E, CCSA and IAT Level III baseline certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop network requirements and specifications from inception through implementation.
• Analyze and resolve complex enterprise network problems.
• Provide expertise for 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN infrastructure, hardware and software.
• Support switching and routing infrastructures connecting internal servers and external networks.
• Coordinate activities with program management and government representatives.
• Ensure solutions meet technical requirements and user needs.
• Apply network/telecom experience to network management and service desk support.
• Provide Tier 3/4 support for F5 LTM/GTM/DNS/APM.
• Plan, execute and document lab assessments of hardware, software and configs.
• Develop technology assessment plans and change requests.
