Job summary

Apple Inc. Singapore is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Global Network Services team. You will design and implement large-scale enterprise network infrastructure across regions, including WiFi, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN and automation for internal and external customers.

The role requires mentoring peers and leading cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Operations and DevOps to enhance the customer experience and drive operational excellence in Apple’s dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in multinational enterprise network design, deployment and support.
• Hands-on IGP/EGP in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6) and Internet routing policies.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in enterprise WiFi design, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience managing next-generation firewalls.
• Solid experience with network automation using Python or Go.
• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain large-scale enterprise network infrastructure across multiple regions.
• Architect and operate routing and switching environments including BGP, EVPN and VXLAN fabrics.
• Deploy, optimize and troubleshoot enterprise and campus WiFi networks across Cisco, Meraki and Aruba platforms.
• Manage and troubleshoot next-generation firewalls including Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco.
• Perform deep packet analysis and protocol troubleshooting across TCP/IP stack and related networking protocols.
• Automate network operations, monitoring and configuration tasks using Python or Go.
• Create and maintain network documentation including diagrams, runbooks and SOPs.
• Participate in change management processes and maintenance windows to minimize disruption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

• - Extensive hands-on expertise in enterprise WiFi design, deployment and troubleshooting

• - Experience with network monitoring and observability tools

Preferred Qualifications

• - College degree (BA or BS); technical degree preferred
• - Experience with DevOps and cloud networking is a strong advantage
• - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• - Advanced network certifications preferred
