Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Network Architect Lead in Cupertino to design and guide large-scale data center networks and WiFi deployments across Apple’s infrastructure. You will own architecture, strategy, and cross-functional delivery with engineering, security, and operations teams.

The role requires exceptional presentation skills and executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals, while driving reliability and security in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale data center network architecture and WiFi design.
• Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of multi-site networking, routing, switching, firewalls, and security frameworks.
• Executive-level presentation skills with cross-functional leadership.
• Experience collaborating across teams to meet complex project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the network technology roadmap and strategy.
• Define architecture and deployment for networks supporting Apple’s test device farm.
• Partner with software and hardware teams to deliver scalable, highly available networks.
• Drive technology adoption, vendor engagement, and lifecycle management for networking.
• Participate in PagerDuty rotation, identify root causes, and ensure fixes.
• Communicate network strategy to partners and stakeholders in business terms.
