Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks an IT Manager to oversee enterprise IT operations, including computers, servers, and devices, on a 24/7 basis. You will plan upgrades, manage projects, and drive strategic IT initiatives while ensuring security and policy compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science with 3–5 years in IT/project management, with a Master’s preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.
• 3–5 years in Information Technology, project management, or advanced support management is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day IT operations to optimize costs and user satisfaction.
• Plan hardware/software upgrades, migrations, and new implementations with staff-facing documentation.
• Analyze problems from an enterprise perspective to deliver cost-effective solutions that minimize downtime.
• Evaluate hardware and software for compatibility and long-term integration across systems.
• Ensure staff are qualified, trained, productive, and accountable.
• Develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce expenses in line with IS strategy.
• Maintain security and integrity of information, systems, applications, email, and directories per MLH policies.
• Provide timely, accurate project updates, plans, and status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
