Job summary

PowerSchool Group LLC is seeking a Distinguished Enterprise Data & Integration Architect to set the long-term architectural vision for data movement, storage, governance, and consumption. This role blends deep technical mastery with enterprise-wide strategic influence and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data architecture, integration, or platform architecture, incl. senior-level experience.
• History of setting enterprise-wide architectural vision and strategy.
• Deep expertise with iPaaS or middleware (Boomi or similar).
• Experience with modern data warehousing/lakehouse and Microsoft data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Power BI).
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Experience with APIs, REST, JSON, and data transformation pipelines.
• Track record of influencing executive technology decisions and presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise data and integration architecture vision aligned with business strategy.
• Own and evolve enterprise integration across ERP, CRM, HR, and SaaS systems.
• Define non-functional standards for error handling, logging, monitoring, retry logic, and performance.
• Own the target-state data platform architecture using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
• Define governance tooling and metadata standards (Purview) with lineage and catalog.
• Mentor and develop senior architects and influence hiring and career development.
