Job summary

Platte River Power Authority in Fort Collins seeks a senior data integration engineer to lead the buildout of the enterprise integration framework, standardizing data, analytics, and API platforms. You will drive architectural ownership while contributing hands-on engineering across ETL/ELT, data warehousing, modeling, analytics, and AI/ML-enabled data platforms.

The role requires strong knowledge of enterprise data strategies, API management, and modern cloud-based data platforms; experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum eight years in application or data engineering and related fields.
Five+ years in projects applying SDLC and enterprise data solutions.
Strong experience with data integration, APIs, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
Proficient in cloud and DevOps tools, security practices, and data governance.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and integration of software applications and data solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Develop and maintain enterprise integrations and API platforms.
Oversee code reviews, quality assurance, and documentation standards.
Mentor junior engineers and drive adoption of standards and best practices.
Ensure security, reliability, and scalable performance across data systems.
Support disaster recovery and data privacy compliance.
