Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a Senior Enterprise Data Engineer to design and implement complex data pipelines and curated data structures used by analysts across the organization, coupling data movement with governance and quality controls.

You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to maintain performance of data models, tools, and DevOps processes, and explore new technologies to advance SHC’s analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration or related field required.
• 7+ years in reporting, analytics, BI or healthcare technology or 3+ years in cloud data lake technologies (PySpark notebooks/pipelines on Databricks) with DevOps/CI/CD/orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leaders and users to design, test and implement complex data stores and data pipelines based on business needs.
• Researches, road maps and maintains performance of SHC’s data modeling, DevOps and development tools and processes.
• Explores new technologies to create solutions and improve development/operational efficiency.
• Performs analysis, development and testing of complex data marts and supports other engineers; promotes data-driven decision making.
