Zusammenfassung

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Enterprise IT Security Architect to lead the design and deployment of Isolated Recovery Environments for enterprise clients in on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid settings. You will direct teams from 3 to 15 people, delivering secure, isolated recovery capabilities for critical systems.

The role focuses on architecture, validation, and practical implementation of air‑gapped environments, with deep expertise in AD forest recovery and PAM.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years of enterprise IT security architecture, infrastructure, or cyber recovery experience.
• Hands‑on experience designing isolated, air‑gapped, or highly segmented recovery environments.
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewalling, VLANs, and isolation in on‑premises and cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory forest recovery, DNS/time dependencies, and identity separation.
• Experience with virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, and core networking services.
• Familiarity with modern backup/cyber recovery platforms (Rubrik, Cohesity) and their data‑flow patterns.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture, design, and hands‑on deployment of Isolated Recovery Environments for on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Design and implement isolation controls including network segmentation and air‑gapping.
• Architect independent platform services within the IRE (compute, storage, networking, DNS, DHCP, monitoring, virtualization).
• Lead AD forest recovery processes inside the isolated environment with no trust to production AD.
• Define secure administration models and Privileged Access Workstations, just‑in‑time access, PAM integration.
• Ensure immutable storage and backup ingestion designs; reference Rubrik and Cohesity for data transfer into the IRE.
• Develop recovery runbooks, validation procedures, and testing approaches; enable safe restoration and promotion of workloads.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams (3–15 consultants/engineers); provide technical direction and quality oversight.
• Engage with client stakeholders to translate resilience requirements into practical IRE designs.
• Document architectures, standards, and recommendations for client environments.
