Job summary

STAAR Surgical in Lake Forest, CA seeks a Technical Architect to govern enterprise architecture across Oracle Fusion ERP, Salesforce, OCI, and AI-enabled capabilities. You will partner with business and IT leaders to design secure, scalable solutions for a regulated medical device business.

You will provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure, AI initiatives, and software development, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise application architecture with Oracle Fusion ERP and Salesforce
• Experience in technical leadership (5+ years)
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud modules (Financials, SCM, Manufacturing, Order Management)
• Experience with OCI, OIC, Visual Builder Studio, REST APIs
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Apex, LWC, Flow
• Enterprise integration architecture and API management
• DevOps, CI/CD with GitHub or Azure DevOps
• IAM, OAuth, SAML, JWT
• AI: Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI governance

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise application architecture roadmap across Oracle Fusion ERP, Salesforce, OCI, OIC and enterprise integrations.
• Lead architecture governance, technical design reviews, and technology standards.
• Design scalable Oracle Fusion ERP extensions using Visual Builder Studio, REST APIs and OIC.
• Architect Salesforce Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, LWC, Apex and Flow solutions.
• Design secure API-first and event-driven integrations using OIC, REST, SOAP and Platform Events.
• Define OCI architecture including networking, IAM, API Gateway, Functions, Object Storage, monitoring and disaster recovery.
• Lead Oracle quarterly release assessments and production readiness activities.
• Ensure application availability, performance, scalability and security.
• Drive DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub and IaC.
• Define enterprise security standards including OAuth, SAML, JWT.
• Lead AI initiatives including Generative AI, Oracle AI Services, Salesforce Einstein AI, Copilot and intelligent workflow automation.
• Evaluate and implement AI copilots, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise search capabilities.
• Establish AI governance, responsible AI practices and data privacy controls.
