Job summary

STAAR Surgical seeks a Director of Enterprise AI to lead the company-wide AI strategy and business transformation through AI-enabled capabilities integrated with ERP, CRM, and enterprise platforms. You will partner with executives across functions to prioritize initiatives that improve efficiency, product quality, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI, data science, engineering, IT, business administration, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in AI, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, PM, or Data Analytics are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI strategy and governance to drive business transformation.
• Establish and operate an Enterprise AI CoE for governance, standards, and adoption.
• Drive AI initiatives across ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and more.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify AI opportunities improving efficiency, quality, revenue, and productivity.
• Develop roadmaps, investment plans, and value realization metrics for AI programs.
• Ensure Responsible AI, model lifecycle, risk management, and governance are in place.
• Lead deployment of RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and AI assistants.
• Integrate AI with cloud and enterprise data platforms and ensure secure scalable deployment.
• Establish KPIs and executive dashboards for AI adoption and value realization.
• Lead change management and enterprise AI adoption.
