Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governs, and improves the firm’s enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

You will define standards and roadmaps, work with Azure, M365, Power Platform, and ServiceNow APM, and advise delivery teams on risks, integration, and modernization across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture, application architecture, or a related technology architecture discipline.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure IaaS/PaaS, integration services, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot.
• Experience with ServiceNow APM and EA modules for portfolio management.
• Ability to translate business strategy into capability models and roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and advisory skills.
• Expertise in integration architecture and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience with portfolio management, rationalization, and standardization.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable, and standardized delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, solution patterns, and related artifacts within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards, solution approvals, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, helping identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, maturity, and alignment with target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
