Job summary

IT Resources seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy in a large-scale investment management environment. You will shape future-state architecture supporting front-, middle-, and back-office functions and partner with stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in AE roles, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of wealth/investment platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, or business architecture roles.
7+ years of experience leading architecture initiatives, driving technical strategy, and mentoring technical teams.
Strong experience within wealth management, asset management, investment management, or financial services environments.
Deep knowledge of investment operations supporting front-office, middle-office, and back-office functions.
Experience defining enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and strategic technology roadmaps.
Strong understanding of application, integration, data, and cloud-based architectures.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Define and promote enterprise architecture standards, principles, and best practices across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
Lead the architecture and design of solutions supporting investment management operations, portfolio management, trading, operational processing, and enterprise platform integrations.
Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align business goals with future-state architecture objectives.
Evaluate existing technology solutions and recommend improvements, modernization strategies, and platform enhancements.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on architecture strategy, vendor selection, and technology direction.
Partner with business and technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Guide the adoption of cloud technologies, data platforms, and integration frameworks to support long-term business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and large-scale technology implementations.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.
