Ignite IT in Washington, DC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Enterprise Architect to own the enterprise architecture direction across business, data, application, security, and technology domains. You will set target-state architecture, modernize priorities, and govern the architecture repository while driving practical design decisions. This is a hands-on role based in Washington, DC with a hybrid work arrangement.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture with governance responsibility.
• Experience governing As-Is, To-Be, transition, domain, and technical architectures.
• Hands-on experience with architecture review boards, compliance reviews, standards, roadmaps, and decision records.
• Proven ability to connect strategic architecture direction to practical designs and modernization actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for leadership and technical audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Govern or participate in Architecture Review Boards, investment reviews, and design reviews with clear records.
