Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs and governs the firm’s enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft‑centric, cloud‑first IT strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will define architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns that connect business capabilities with scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in enterprise/technology architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps).
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, solution patterns, and related artifacts in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, identifying risks and integration challenges across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices and alignment with target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
