Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team in Raleigh, NC. This role designs and governs enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy, delivering architecture standards, roadmaps, and reusable patterns.

This individual will work with stakeholders across platforms such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM to improve efficiency, integration, and architectural

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in enterprise technology architecture.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF or similar frameworks and applying architecture principles.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Experience with ServiceNow EA/APM or comparable tools for portfolio management and mapping.
• Ability to translate business strategy into capability models and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps).
• Define reference architectures and reusable solution patterns with guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes and participate in architecture review boards.
• Collaborate with delivery teams as a trusted architecture advisor to identify risks and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture maturity and target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
