Job summary

PG&E in Oakland seeks a Manager/Principal for Enterprise Strategy & Architecture. You will translate the architecture vision for business domains into real roadmaps, focusing on Asset Management, risk analytics, and digital twins, while collaborating with IT and senior business leaders in a hybrid work setting.

Lead portfolio architecture, coach delivery teams, deliver reusable patterns and reference architectures, and ensure alignment with PG&E's True North goals.

Qualifications

• 10 years of enterprise architecture experience.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in utilities or asset/risk management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology roadmaps for Asset Management (Inspections, Risk Management, Analytics & Reporting, Digital Twins).
• Collaborate with business to enable future goals using AI/ML/Gen AI.
• Assess current IT application environment and develop future target architecture.
• Lead vendor assessments, support RFPs, and application rationalization.
• Coordinate roadmaps across enterprise groups to manage conflicts and interdependencies.
• Support project delivery and provide enterprise architecture view for solution designs.
• Stay updated with AI, edge computing, and emerging industry segments.
