Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Enterprise Architect in Boise to lead architecture direction for complex business and technology challenges.

You will create target-state architectures, roadmaps, and pragmatic delivery guardrails across cloud, data, and AI initiatives, partnering with business and IT leaders to enable scalable, secure solutions. The role emphasizes governance, security, observability, and operational readiness, while shaping AI integration across core enterprise

Qualifications

• Translate business objectives into scalable, secure enterprise architectures.
• Define target-state architectures, roadmaps, and guardrails for delivery.
• Strong communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/GenAI solution patterns and enterprise AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture direction and multi-year roadmaps for enterprise platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide cross-domain delivery
• Partner with Product Owners, engineers, and security to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Govern architecture risk, dependencies, and governance forums; communicate tradeoffs to executives.
