Akamai's Advanced Solutions team seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI to advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers. You will guide customers' business strategies and help maximize Akamai's products, emphasizing AI and emerging technologies.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful AI deployments across Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, shaping future product direction with PM and R&D.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient with scripting languages and development to create automation on our platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams, ensuring success through Akamai cloud, delivery, and security adoption.
• Design and implement Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, APIs, and architectures for advanced AI workloads.
• Guide customers in choosing the most suitable AI frameworks, tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders for AI solutions.
• Lead innovation by advocating emerging trends and shaping product roadmaps with PM and R&D.
• Provide technical thought leadership and educate peers on best practices and trends.
• Establish technical thought leadership in AI and cloud/edge computing to support growth strategies.
• Partner with PM and R&D to develop future product direction and strategy.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI, you will advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers. You will guide customers' business strategies and help them maximize Akamai's products, emphasizing AI and emerging technologies. You will share your expertise across Akamai, supporting teams with insights on AI and related advancements.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Identifying customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams, ensuring success through Akamai cloud, delivery, and security adoption.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, another related field or its equivalent.
• Be proficient with scripting languages and development to help create automation on our platforms.
• Possess the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Have the ability to be a technical consultant to our customers and build effective and strategic relationships.
• Be able to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $139,300 - $250,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
